The U-15 team of the Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS Ilorin FC) has won the 2017 Kwara Football Association U-15 soccer competition.
The Saraki Boys young lads defeated their counterparts, Future Stars FC 6-2 in the final match played on Thursday at the Kwara Stadium Complex, Ilorin.
It would be recalled that ABS U-15 team had won the NPFL/LALIGA U-15 Promises final in Lagos in April.
It was a harvest of goals in the final game as Future Stars scored in the early minutes through Joshua Aiyenugba.
ABS responded quickly and leveled up through Afees Ajao who later scored hart-trick in the game.
On resumption for the 2nd half, ABS returns with a beautiful display, as they are pumping goals and turned their opponents into confusion.
Mubaraq Gata, Jamiu Lasoju and Tade Bello, completed the rout for Saraki Boys, as they dismantled their opponents 6-2 in front of mammoth crowd who watched the game.
Speaking after the victory, the Director of Football, ABS Ilorin FC, Alloy Chukwuemeka praised the boys for their wonderful display.
He reiterated that the management is fully committed to their future, as he promised that more players will be promoted to the main team.
