KWSG to sustain Kwara Utd’s status in NPFL

 

The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdul Fatah Ahmed has reiterated his administration’s commitment to sustain Kwara United FC Status in the NPFL Come next Season.

Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed stated this yesterday at the get together and award presentation to football stakeholders in the State, organised by Kwara United Football Supporters Club.

Ahmed, who Spoke through Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Alhaji Kale Nuhu Ayo particularly applauded the management, players and officials of the club for returning the harmony boys to the apex league in Nigeria, stressing that with that achievement, more confidence has been restored in the ability of the technical crew to lead the team for greater Success in future.

In his address, the President of the club, Prince Oladimeji Thompson appreciated the state government for their immense Support and financial Contributions, throughout their stay in the NNL for two seasons, noting that the spirit should be sustained to guarantee their status in the NPFL as more legs needed to be recruited ahead of the new season.

The Supporters Club’s Chairman, Alhaji Babatunde Saliman disclosed that the award was organized to appreciate and recognize the support rendered by the various football stakeholders through their trying period at the National League.

Alhaji Babatunde Saliman promised to ensure that the team maintains their status in the NPFL but urged all and sundry to continue rally round the team for their quest to triumph in the Nigeria Football.
