A couple of months back, celebrity makeup artist, Banke Meshida Lawal of BM|Pro’s leading employees, Demi William and Annabel Warrie resigned to start their own businesses.
Banke put up a disclaimer stating that the two makeup artists no longer worked for her, leading to speculations that there was trouble in paradise.
On Thursday, a friend of Demi and Annabel’s took to Instagram to alert the public that there is indeed trouble.
According to her, Banke is accusing the two ladies of stealing the sum of N28 million from her and has had them locked up in a police station in Abuja without any form of contact with their families.
Here’s what she wrote:
“From the moment they tendered their resignation letter Banke Meshida refused to let them have any form of peace and continuously kept trying to get them arrested which failed not until last weekend she got the police to arrest William and Annabel and they were taken to Alagbon police station and she instructed the police to transfer them to Maitama police station, Abuja so as to take them off the reach of anybody who might want to come to their rescue.
“Please Nigerians, if truly they stole the sum of 28million naira why did she not find out until they decided to resign and why do they both not have cars and their own studio since they left Meshida…please we need to stand up and help these two being victimised by their former boss if truly they stole from her, she as an educated individual should have a proof.”
