Kwara squash athletes shine in Ex-Pros U-16, U-13 tourney

Kwara State Squash team have won the five days Ex-Pros U-16 and U-13 tournament held in Lagos last week, winning three gold, three silver and three bronze.
Nasir AbdulRahman won gold for the state in the U-16 boys while Abdulraheem Durosinlorun settled for bronze.
In the U-16 girls, it was all Kwara all the way with Adeyi Odunade smiling home with gold, Aminat Musa came home with silver while Kudirat Daudu won bronze.
Ibrahim Balogun won silver for the state in the U-13 boys while the Kwara also claimed the three medals in the under thirteen girls.
Mistura Drurosinloun won gold, Hayisat Durosinloun clinched silver while Ramata Abubakar picked bronze. Kudirat Daudu won the Best Behaved Girl award.
Niger State came second winning one gold with Lagos State clinching the third spot with one silver and one bronze.
Receiving the Athletes in Ilorin, the State Director of Sports, Coach Tunde Kazeem praised the players for doing the State winning the overall trophy.
Coach Kazeem thanked the sponsors for believing in the Athletes and giving back to the society.
The Director who appreciated the Technical crew stated that the State government would continue to encourage the athletes in their carrier.
Twelve states including Lagos, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Edo, Delta, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Kaduna, Niger and Plateau participated in the tournament.
