IVTEC, Ajase-Ipo calls for admission

 

The International Vocational, Technical & Entrepreneurship College (IVTEC), Ajase-Ipo, on Friday announced the opening of admissions for Special Certificate Programmes for the 2017/2018 Academic session.
Recall that the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed recently approved full scholarship for 195 candidates to be selected from the 16 local government areas of the state for the inaugural Special Certificate Programmes. The candidates would be drawn from the existing YESSO list developed by the World Bank.
Members of the general public, especially those seeking entry into an exciting and profitable profession, or already practising but are desirous of a recognised certificate can apply for a programme at the colleage.
All shortlisted candidates will be notified via SMS and could also check their names on IVTEC website.
Meanwhile, in the light of expected immediate impact of the Special Certificate Programmes in reducing youth unemployment, and enhancing the welfare and living standards of Kwarans, the state government has agreed to pay for up to 70 percent (70%) cost in the tuition/fee rates for other candidates of Kwara State origin only outside of the World Bank YESSO scheme.
For applicable tuition/fee rates, applicants are to visit the college website.
Candidates will participate in an intensive, hands-on curriculum leading to the award of Technical and Entrepreneurship Certificate, which will enable them entry into the new career immediately.
Interested candidates may also return to IVTEC for the next level of certification or proceed on a Professional/National Innovation Diploma track in their chosen field of interest.
