Share indigenes congratulate Kwara Gov-Elect, salute Saraki

 

Indigenes of Share Community in the Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State under the aegis of Share Descendants’ Union (SDU) have congratulated Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq over his victory as the Governor-Elect for the state.

In a statement on Tuesday signed by the National President and National Publicity Secretary, Elder Gabriel Yemi Jimoh and Ahmed Ajiboye respectively, the group described the victory as the will of God.

According to them, “On behalf of His Royal Highness the Olupako of Share, traditional and honorary Chiefs, sons and daughters of Share home and abroad, we congratulate the Governor-elect, Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman on his victory at the polls.”

It also advised the Governor-elect to be magnanimous in victory and strive to build infrastructures across the state with a view to justify the confidence reposed in him.

The statement also saluted the Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki for the maturity displayed in accepting the outcome of the election and described him as an ambassador of peace.

The union also praised the outgoing Governor of the State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, who is an indigene of Share for his patriotism, stressing that history would never forget the Governor for his laudable contributions to the growth and development of the state.

The statement, therefore prayed God to guide and guard the Governor-elect in piloting the affairs of the state to the Promised Land.
