Christians tasked on holy life

Christians have again been charged to strive to live a righteous and meaningful life to ensure a better  society.
A Cleric, Pastor Ademola Popoola gave the charge yesterday in his sermon delivered at the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Ilorin District Headquarters.
Speaking on the Topic “Reward of righteousness”, Pastor Popoola called on the people to desist from vices and move closer to God.
The Cleric who cited various verses in the Bible implored Christians to believe firmly in Jesus Christ, urging them to desist from sin to receive abundant reward from God.
Similarly, the Founder of the Holy Church of C & S Fogo fun Olorun, Kilanko road, llorin Most Senior Apostle Prophet lsaac Adeniyi Opalere has emphasised the need for Nigerians regardless of their religion to always show appreciation to God for His mercy and protection.
Prophet Opalere who made this known in his message at the Church 38th anniversary, urged Christians to allow God to rule their world.
According to him, God is the maker of all beings and does as He pleases, just as he called  on those in the corridors of power to govern with the fear of God.
In his message with the theme “Greatness’ to celebrate the 8th anniversary of the Ministry, Prophet Femi Emmanuel of the Agbara Olorun lgbani wasibe, Gbagede, called on Christian  faithful to put God first in their life so that His greatness would be seen in their life.
Prophet Emmanuel also acknowledged God for His mercy over his Church and enjoined the congregration to honour God with their belonging.
Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amayo who  centred his message on thanksgiving, implored Christians to always appreciate the benevolent of God in their life.
Pastor Abioye added that with God nothing shall be impossible as all power belong to Him alone.
Pastor  ldowu Constain of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel, Gaa-Akanbi, Ilorin appealed to politicians to see their positions as opportunity to assist the needy and the  society at large while urging them irrespective of their religious backgrounds to let the fear of God be paramount in their hearts as whatever done when on earth shall be accounted for in the hereafter.
Pastor  Kayode Omotosho of the C A C  Anusogolorimi, Kilanko village, Ilorin whose message was “Walk and be perfect before God”  enjoined Christians to serve God faithfully and live a blameless life.
