Kwara PDP meets 16 council chairmen, party excos

 

The Kwara state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has met with the sixteen local government chairmen in the state and the party executives across the state to chart the way forward for the party.
Chairman of the party, Engr Kola Shittu who addressed the gathering that was held at the party secretariat, Ilorin described it as strategic.
The meeting which also had in attendance all State Working committee Members and other top ranking officials of the party discussed among other things, way forwards to put the party on the right course in order to address critical issues and challenges facing the it at the rural level with a view to addressing it.
Local government party leaders who spoke during the gathering expressed satisfaction at the present fence mending mechanism embarked upon by the chairman of the Engr. Kola Shittup-led state organ of the party and pledged their cooperation towards charting a new course that will reposition the party for victory in its future outings.
While thanking the entire local government chairmen for their endurance at this critical time the party is going through, the state chairman enjoined them to always use the open door policy of the state chapter of the party to address whatever challenges that may come up at the grassroots, noting that he and other state executives will not leave any stone unturned in the current consultations embarked upon to address individuals grievances of party stakeholders in the state.
