RAAM Projects: KWSG approves N200m counterpart funds

The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Abdulraham has approved the sum of N200 million counterpart fund for the take off of Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing (RAAM) Projects 111.
The Permanent Secretary,  Ministry of Works and Transport, Alhaji Yusuf Garba Manjo made the disclosure shortly after receiving the approval documents from the Governor.
The Permanent Secretary,  who described Governor Abdulrahman as “a man of few words but more action”, commended the Governor for his sheer commitment to turning things around within a few weeks of inauguration.
He noted that the Governor has been facilitating projects that will immensely benefit the masses since his assumption of office, saying that His Excellency’s body language is a practical demonstration of sincere service to the masses and fulfilment of his electioneering promises.
Manjo added that with the government of Alhaji Abdulrahman, the people of Kwara will now begin to feel the climate of genuine governance,  urging Kwarans to be patient with His Excellency as the Governor is actively alive to the crusade to revamp all the deteriorating sectors of life in the state.
Also Manjo while receiving the approval documents from the Governor was the Director, Civil Engineering Department, Ministry of Works and Transport, Engr. Biliaminu Folorunsho, who joined the Permanent Secretary in appreciating the Governor and stated that the time has come for Kwarans to be rejoicing.
