“On Thursday 27th of the same month, he came for his make-up class while other teachers were having meeting. After the class, he told me to collect all the class notes and bring them to him which I did. I went to meet him in Primary Four.
“While going back to class and even close to my class, Mr Akorede called me back. On getting close to him, he asked me to follow him to the toilet and closed the toilet door.
“He pulled up my skirt and pulled off my pant. He started touching my bum bum at the front. After which he said I should not tell anybody. He opened the door and went back to Primary Four, I pulled my pant back on and drew down my skirt and went back to class.
“Another teacher had been to our class and teaching. So I took permission from the teacher that I want to use the rest room. While coming back, I met one of my classmates whose surname is Adio, she said that Mr Korede told her something I couldn’t recollect what she was told. We were both acting strange. Other class members started noticing that something was not right with us.
“We later told Nifemi and Abdullahi about what happened between me, Adio and Akorede. Nifemi and Abdulahi went to primary four to call Senior Dorcas. Senior Dorcas said Akorede has done the same thing to her before.
“I was told to inform my class teacher, Mrs Opeyemi, who took me to Mrs Adebisi, our HM and I was asked to recount the details of the incident.
“The Headmistress sent for Mr Akorede, I was in tears while I was narrating the incident while the Yoruba teacher was smiling.

“I proceeded to Offa road at the school headquarters to know what really happened. Initially fleeing on setting eyes on me, I asked the HM, Mrs Adebisi and the class teacher of what happened, but they could not give any reasonable explanation.
“While I was seriously angry, the school teacher said they should leave me alone if I refuse to calm down. I went straight to police headquarters to report the situation. While at the police station, a strange number was calling me. I later picked the call and the person introduced himself as the proprietor of the school telling me to leave everything to God. My daughter’s class teacher too was begging me while weeping over the phone.
“I wrote petitions to Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Kwara State governor, first lady, and other organisations. I called the Desk Officer of Quality Assurance Bureau of Kwara State Ministry of Education, Alhaji Jimoh Gazali and narrated everything to him.
“To cut it short, the school proprietor, Apostle Joshua Adekanye later connived with the Civil Defense to arrest me illegally for fighting for my daughter and I was detained at NSCDC custody.
“At the court, the allegations leveled against me were defended and I was granted bail. I had a bad experience over the matter. Because they said I am lying; they should go to court. I’m ready for them. If I am the one lying or they are the one lying, we shall see,” Fadunmade noted.
