The Imam of Ridwanullahi Mosque, Kuntu Ilorin, Muhammed Jamiu Ayinla,
has tasked Muslims to be helpful to one another in all what they do.
The Clergyman gave the advised on Friday during the Jumaat service
shortly before the two unit congregational solat.
According to him,  Muslims should be ready to share in the struggles
and pains their fellow Muslims are going through.
Ayinla said every Muslim should render help to people leaving around
them, saying , such has  a lot of reward from Allah.
The cleric charged Muslims not to ignore anyone who seeks help from
them rather give whatever they can afford at the point of asking.
“Anyone who seek for help from you, help the person according to your
power. As Muslims, we should not procrastinate in rendering any act of
good deed or kindness. We should always engage in performance of
meritorious acts in all what we are doing to others through our
wealth, knowledge and positions. This is a form of purification for
all the bounties Almighty Allah bestowed on us and we should have at
the back of our mind that, whatever we do is for oneself”, he added.
The Imam who identified Zakat as one of the pillars of Islam urged
Muslims to use it to help other Muslims in need and to establish their
own business to survive.
He emphasised that Muslims should radiate love wherever they find
themselves so as to continue to gain Allah’s pleasure adding that what
makes a Muslim outstanding is the love exhibited to relatives and
other people around them.
