No fewer than 6 Colleges of Education from Kwara, Ondo, Ekiti and Osun States are to take part in the NICEGA Zone C prelims scheduled for Ilorin from Monday Feb. 3 to Wed. Feb. 5 to be hosted by the Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin.
The Sports Committee Chairman, Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin, Dr Abdullahi Ibrahim, disclosed this in an interview with the newsmen on Saturday in Ilorin.
He said the institutions are to compete in football, volleyball, basketball, handball, Table tennis, badminton and tennis in both male and female categories.
According to him, the participating colleges are the hosts, Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin and that of Oro in Irepodun local government area, College of Education, Ila Orangun, Osun state, College of Education, Ilesha also in Osun, Federal College of Education, Ondo while College of Education, Ikere Ekiti completes the list.
Dr Ibrahim told journalists that every arrangements needed to be put in place have been done for an hitch free prelims.
He said the main event is scheduled for Yola later in the year.
