LG aspirants Alaka, Aniba, condole Abdulrazaq, Kannike over parents’ death

A frontline aspirant for the forthcoming Local Government election in Moro, Kwara State, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Moshood Alaka has commiserated with Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq over the death of his father.
The governor’s father, Abdulrazaq died in the early hours of Saturday in Abuja and has since been buried according to Islamic injunctions in his family residence, Idi-Igba, Adeta, Ilorin.
Alaka in a condolence statement personally signed by him and made available to Pilot Politics on Sunday, Alaka described the death as a great loss to Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole.
He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased and grant him paradise even as he prayed for steadfastness for the family during this period of grief.
The statement read:
“I sincerely sympathise with the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq over the death of the patriarch of the Abdulrazaq’s family, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Folorunsho Abdulrazaq, the Mutawali of Ilorin and Tafida of Zazzau (Zaria) at 93.
“I also commiserated with the deceased family, Ilorin West Local Government, Ilorin Emirate and the entire people of Kwara State.
“In fact, the death of the renowned first lawyer in the Northern Nigeria is a great loss to the Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole.
“I pray that may Almighty Allah forgive all his shortcomings and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss”, he added.
In another development, the local government aspirant for Ilorin East, Hon. Abdulqadir Aniba has commiserated with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) former House of Representatives member in Ilorin East/South, Abubakar Amuda kannike over the demise of his mother, Alhaja Sidikat Kannike who died on Saturday in Ilorin.
According to the statement he personally signed, the deceased was a great mother to everyone whose demise will be hard to forget especially her contribution to Islam and her relatives.
“I extend to you my deep and heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mother, Alhaja Sidikat Kannike. She was a great mother to everyone, either relatives or not and she will never be forgotten for her good deed for Islam and relatives”, he added.
Aniba who is a leading aspirant in Ilorin East for the council election commiserated Hon Abubakar Kannike and the entire families and prayed Almighty Allah forgive the soul of the deceased and reward her with Aljanat Firdaos.
