Afterwards, he had his National Youth Service (NYSC) in Abia State. Upon his return to Kwara State, he joined John Mayokun Dada law firm in Ilorin. In October 2018, he established his own Chamber, Kingsmen Associates also in Ilorin. Adeyemi shares with our JUDICIARY CORRESPONDENT, KAYODE ADEOTI, the most unforgettable experience he has had so far in the legal practice. Excerpts:

The event I cannot forget in a hurry since I’ve been practicing happened at the Offa High Court before Justice Umar long time ago.

On that day, I travelled from Ilorin, the Kwara State capital down to Offa. I was to argue an application against a very senior member of the Bar. He was about 20 years at the Bar and I was a rookie.

While I was in court, I checked my file and discovered that I’ve left all the authorities and jottings I wanted to use for the case in Ilorin. This  disturbed me, in fact, for some minutes, I didn’t know what to do. I was almost embarrassed.

But afterwards, I summoned courage and  was able to remember some of the things I jotted and I proved my case. Surprisingly, the court gave judgement in my favour. But I always remember the fear I went through during the period because I felt my boss was going to kill me if I lose the case.
