Kwara Teachers’ Conference holds, tomorrow

 

A group, YATTIYR in conjunction with EDUGIST have organised a  conference for teachers in Kwara State, slated for Tuesday (tomorrow).
The conference tagged ‘The Teacher Rebuild,’ will hold at the Mustapha Akanbi  Foundation Hall, GRA, Ilorin.
This is contained in a statement joínted signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Organising Committee, John Fatoye of the YATTIYR Scholarship Initiative and Ajiboye Ayodeji of Affect Project Initiative, respectively.
It stated that the conference is aimed at deliberating on critical issues in teaching profession in the state and nation at large, as well as proffer solution.
“Kwara Teachers Conference will also discuss enlightenment in teaching profession, motivation for continuous self development, refined approach to teaching, creating network platforms, exploiting benefits of teaching amongst others,” the statement added.
Expected as panelists at the event is the former state Commissioner for Education, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi and experts; Swanta Bonat and Aisha Ahman Patigi.
Facilitators are  Varkey Global Prize Teacher Award  recipients, Ayo Odeogbola and Itodo Samuel.
Others are Chief Education Officer of Edugist, Elvis Boniface and Deputy Director, Teachers’ Department, Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development.
