The Sure Babes Football Club of Ilorin has congratulated their sponsor, Dr. Mike Omotosho as he emerged the new Chairman of Labour Party (LP) in Nigeria.
Mike Omotosho, the former governor of Rotary International, last week Tuesday emerged as the new chairman of Labour Party (LP) while Abudulkadir AbdulSalam, the former chairman, was sacked.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the female club, Malam M.J Daudu, described his appointment as a welcome development, having contributed immensely to the progress of the party.
Daudu noted that his appointment did not come as a surprise, following his major contributions in various human endeavour, especially in health and social welfare.
He advised the former governorship aspirant in Kwara State to use his good leadership role honesty to move the party to greater heights.
The chairman however urged the members of the party to give him necessary support for the growth of the party.
