On Day 2 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) coaching clinic sponsored by Nigeria Breweries PLC, makers of the STAR brand of beer, participants have spoken on the benefits of the programme. STAR is the official beer of the NPFL.
Some of the coaches who spoke to npfl.ng at the Abuja National Stadium, venue of the theoretical section of the programme, did not mince words in lauding the league organisers and the sponsor of the programme.
Coach of El-Kanemi Warriors, Ladan Bosso, who also doubles as the Chairman of the Nigeria Coaches Association, described the programme as a very welcome development for the NPFL.
“It is a very good step in the right direction for the clubs in the elite league, and with such development on the domestic front, the standard of the league will be on the rise technically,” Bosso enthused.
While appreciating the League Management Company (LMC) and STAR for their efforts in organizing the clinic, Plateau United coach Kennedy Boboye maintained that there is no better time for such a workshop, hence it is a win-win situation for Nigerian elite coaches.
