‘Praise God to receive uncommon favour’

 

A Cleric, Pastor Promise Agboola has emphasised the need for Christians to praise God at all times to receive salvation and uncommon favour from God.
Pastor Agboola made the call in his sermon titled “praise and glory” delivered at the 18th anniversary of Lydia Band of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Ilorin District Headquarters.
The Cleric urged them to always worship  God in His glory to experience breakthrough in all ramification.
Also, Christians have again been reminded to use their God’s endowed privilege, wealth and talents for the propagation of the gospel.
A Cleric, Reverend Helen Ebun Oluwakorode, who made the call in her presentation at the annual one day programme organised by the Royal Women Ministry held at Calvary Message Church, Asa Dam, Ilorin, said it was the duty of faithful to spread the gospel to save mankind.
Reverend Oluwakorode, who spoke on the topic “Thou art highly favoured” reiterated the need for Christians to move closer to God and let the birth of Jesus Christ be meaningful in their lives.
The Cleric encouraged Nigerians to believe the word of God concerning their lives, as nobody was created without a purpose.  Oluwakorode  later led the congregation in offering special prayer for the Nation.
Speaking on the theme : “The fear of God”, Reverend Joseph Agboluaje of Second ECWA Shao stressed that the foundation of any knowledge should be to fear God, which would metamorphos in reverence, honour, respect and love for God Almighty.
Reverend Agboluaje called on Christians to fear God and  live in awe of His power and obey His commandment.
The Cleric was of the view that if the society will be better, free of crimes of all form, this kind of fear that produces reverence to God must reflect in the life of all.
Pastor Taiye Aransiola of United Evangelical Miracle Church in his message titled  “honour your parent” called on the people to truly honour and provide for their parent to prosper in life.
The Minister in charge of Glorious Heights Christ Chapel, Asa Dam road,Ilorin. Pastor Amos Ajayi, charged Christians to worship God wholeheartedly as God was ready to bless the Nation.
