KWSG to partner NYSC on anti corruption war

In a bid to tackle corruption in the state and country at large, the Kwara State Government has promised to partner the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and any organisation or group.
The Executive Governor of the state, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed made the disclosure yesterday while playing host to some members of the Anti-Corruption (CDS) group of the NYSC at the conference room of the Governor’s Office.
Receiving members of the group on behalf of the Governor, the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Isiaka Sola Gold, emphasised that government is ready to join hands in the crusade against corruption and other fraudulent practices.
The governor, who assured the corps members that the state government has not lost stream in its relationship with youths, however enjoined them to join hands in the war against other anti- social behaviours such as cultism, kidnapping and other related offences in the society.
Earlier, President of the group, Ighayere Ehondor in his address disclosed that the visit was in continuation of their sensitisation campaign on anti-corruption war in the state just as he appreciated the government for the reception accorded them.
