The death has occurred of a former speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Barr. Sumaila Sadiq.
The late Sadiq, who was also Special Adviser on Security to former governor Adamu Attah died Friday morning at his Ologbin compound residence in Omoda, llorin, at the age of 80.
The deceased has been buried at his residence according to Islamic injunctions same day.
The former Speaker is survived by two wives, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A statement from the spokesperson of the deceased family, Alhaji Saka Ologbin said fidau for the repose of the soul of the former speaker will take place 10am tomorrow (Tuesday) at Ologbin compound, Ilorin.
