Eight players from Kwara State teams have been selected as part of the squad that will represent the North Central zone at the Nigeria Football Federation, [NFF] organised National Championship.
Recalled that the Kwara U-13 football team won the NFF organised National Championship for the North Central on Monday in Abuja.
The team beat their Nasarawa State counterpart in the final decided in Abuja, while the Kwara State team came third in the U-15 category, losing to Niger State.
Speaking on the development, Chairman of the State Football Association, Mallam Busari Ishola praised the two teams on their performance and for doing the State proud.
Mallam Busari Ishola charged the selected players to be good ambassadors of the State by winning the National Championship for the North Central zone.
The Chairman pledged the resolve of the Association to continue to promote football at the grassroots.

The National Zonal final comprising all the six zones in the country will hold in Kano, from 13th of next month.
