I worked as bricklayer before fame – Zlatan Ibile

Nigerian rapper Temidayo Omoniyi better known as Zlatan Ibile has
recounted his journey to stardom in a series of tweets on Monday,
October 28.
Zlatan explained how he did some menial jobs in his early years.
According to one of his tweets, he had worn only a pair of black jean
back then in school.
“One of my friend just reminded me of when we had only one black jean
trouser for school then !! All we had to do to make it look fresh was
just hot water and 20 naira dye” the rapper tweeted.
In 2014, Zlatan who is popularly known for his catchphrase,
“Kapachumarumarichipac” won the Airtel One Mic talent show held in
Abeokuta, Ogun state.
Narrating the struggles he encountered before winning the car, he
recalled how he did menial jobs like working as a labourer for
bricklayers and worked in a cold-room.
“Before I won this car, I do bricklayer, cut grass for people land to
lay foundation, I work for cold-room for Ikorodu Isawo! 10k per month!
I do too many many. But I thank God for my life today.” the
24-year-old wrote.
Earlier this year, the rapper was arrested by Economic and  Financial
Crimes Commission (EFCC) alongside his friend Naira Marley but was
released few days later.
Zlatan bagged three awards at the just concluded AFRIMMA.

Indigenous rapper Zlatan Ibile has stirred Twitter reactions after he
tweeted that he loves reality TV star, Tacha.
It was learnt that Zlatan has been a strong critic of the Port
Harcourt first daughter since her stay in the Big brother house.
But in the early hours of Monday, the rapper wrote “I love Tacha”
after which some of her fans asked her not to give him audience.
Recall that shortly after Tacha’s disqualification from the pepper dem
edition of the show, Zlatan released a diss track for mocking the
Instagram queen over ‘body odour’ claims.
The rapper shared a footage on his Instagram handle, where he is seen
spraying perfumes and saying “ki lo n run, Tacha ti wole” meaning
“what is smelling, is Tacha in”
Meanwhile, Tacha had reacted to the claims, saying she loves Zlatan
Ibile despite the singer mocking her with a diss track about ‘body
odour.
In an interview with Cool FM, Tacha said she did not perceive the song
to mean anything, adding that she was a fan of Zlatan.
“I didn’t see it as anything, I like #Zlatan and I love his music,
it’s all love,” she said.
Also in a recent interview with Daddy Freeze, she was asked how she
would reacts if she eventually come across the rapper at the airport.
Responding, the Port Harcourt first daughter said, she would do
nothing but say hello Zlatan.
