Lions Club to render free medical service in Kwara

T he District 404B2 of Lions Clubs in collaboration with the Mercy International Medical Mission (USA) and Community Dentist on Wheel (USA) will carry out a medical outreach in Kwara State.

The programme has been scheduled to hold between Wednesday 27th and  Friday 30th September, 2017.

This was contained in a statement issued by the District 404B2 Governor, Lions Clubs International, Asiwaju Ayobola Samuel, at the weekend.

“We are organising a medical improvement outreach mission titled: “We Care, We Serve.” The event will cover incorporating free medical, dental, diabetes, high blood pressure, eyes screening, treatment and distribution of free eyes glasses,” it said.

According to statement, the programme will hold at Sobi Specialist Hospital, Civil Service Clinic as well as Banquet Hall.

The organisation assured that it will continue in its charity efforts towards making life meaningful for the less privileged in the society.

The statement however urged members of the public to take part in the programme, stressing that “health is wealth”.
