3 Simple ways to get rid of dark lips

 

Though the lips are the softest and most delicate features of the body and the skin of the lips is thinner compared to the rest of the face, but we often take our lips for granted which can eventually lead to darkening of the lips and dark lips are definitely not attractive.

Exposure to sunlight, excessive smoking, and simple everyday habits like having tea and coffee, wrong use of products or cheap skin care creams can also darken the lips but whatever the cause might be, this condition is not irreversible.

Here are 3 simple kitchen ingredients that can help you lighten your lips naturally.

Tip 1: Take some lemon juice, dip a cotton wool and dab on your lips. Repeat this for one or two months and watch your lips getting lighter day by day. Lemon is a natural bleach that helps in lighting the skin.

Tip 2: Take olive oil, apply on your lips and massage for 5 minutes before going to bed. Repeat this process for one or two months and you will get your desired colour. Olive oil is filled with nutrients and acts as a moisturizer.

Tip 3: Take a teaspoon of milk cream, add a teaspoon of sugar to it and mix well; scrub this mixture on your lips for 5 minutes. Repeat this once a week until you get the desired colour of your lips. Exfoliation is important as it removes dead skin cell and allow new skin cell to form.
