That account for why nothing must be done at the scene of crime by the victims of rape or their relations, pending the arrival of the police detective handling the case.

In this direction, scene of crime must be preserved, the bed sheet or mats including mattress as the case may be must not be tampered with while all cloths wore by both victims of rape and the suspect particularly the pants must be properly preserved, this include the under wears these listed is likely to contain valuable clues or evidential value. Where armed robbers broke into your premises all items capable of retaining fingerprints such as damaged door, television etc must be properly preserved. Unauthorized persons must not be allowed to the scene of crime.

Criminal records shown that the aforementioned items are capable of retaining fingerprint and needs to be handle with extra care, any abandoned items by the suspects at the scene of crime must also be preserved. It is no more a news; today that miscreant employed all sorts of scientific method in the mode of their operation. Evidence revealed that they use sophisticated fire arms and other prohibited weapons superior to that of the police and other law enforcement agents. To face this modern security challenges, law enforcement agents must not only be adequately motivated but must be well equipped with more superior weapons. Similarly or well trained law enforcements agents will no doubt live up to the present security challenges post by the dread sect. Hence those employed to protect lives and properties must be properly trained and retrained for the effective operation. The government at all levels must not only provide circus television at all strategic points in towns and villages, but must ensure regular supply of electricity to facilitate easy identification of the suspects, particularly the men of underworld who take diligent in maiming and killing of innocent citizens. Apart from providing the law enforcement agents with necessary equipment, the provision of job opportunity for youths and citizenry in general by the various governments can be a great asset in crime prevention and detection, government must ensure that both the old and young are properly employed since an idle minds is a devil’s workshop. The government must improve in all poverty alleviation programme for the electorates, life support polices capable of reducing the suffering of those above the 70years old living in all nooks and crannies of the state must be introduce by the government so that the labour of our heroes past shall not be in vain.

Our elders need government care and attention, at the age of 70, they need the support of all and sundry. This is the practice in advance and attention. I would like to seize this opportunity to commend the effort of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji (Dr.) Abdulfatah Ahmed in his recent announced poverty alleviation programme and as well sitting a heart of the world International Vocational Centre at Ajasse-Ipo to cater for our people in the state. I also commend the state governor for the STEPB programme and provision of soft loan for the boosting of business of our entrepreneur in all the sixteen local government areas of the state.

It in unprecedented dividends of democracy not only to reduce the burden and suffering of our people but an outstanding policy capable of reducing criminal activities in the society, Kwara state and Nigeria as a whole.

It is undisputable fact that the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, CON has continue to be a friend of weak, oppressed and hopeless in his philanthropic drive. I commend him. This communication is devoid of sycophancy or praise singer, it’s “seeing is believing”.
