Director of Sports, Kwara State Sports Council, Mallam Tunde Kazeem has hailed his recent appointment by the Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN) as a member of the federation.
BFN Last week co-opted the state Director of Sports and former National Badminton Coach into the new elected board member.
This, according to a letter signed by the Secretary General of the body, Patience Okon, was done in recognition of the valuation contributions he is making towards the growth of the game.
Speaking on the development, DOS thanked the BFN for the recognition, as he promised to make himself available anytime his service is needed to assist the organisation.
Coach Kazeem also promised to do his best to uplift the standard of the game in Nigeria.
By the co-option, the Mallam Kazeem, who is also the Chairman of Directors’ of Sports Forum in Nigeria is expected to attend Board meetings.
He has equally been appointed to work with the Technical and Grassroots Development Sub-Committee of the Board, for the delivery of the federation’s mandate.
The letter enjoined Mallam Kazeem to bring his experience to bear in the discharge of his duties, in order to further accelerate the development of the game
