Ladi Hassan: APC chieftain lauds Saraki, Ahmed

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate for Ilorin West Local Government Area in the forthcoming local government election in Kwara State, Hajia Aminat Omodara, has described as apt and timely the appointment of Alhaji Ladi Hassan as Executive Secretary, Social Development, Federal Capital Development Administration (FCDA).

She said the appointment was well deserved considering Hassan’s wealth of experience and administrative acumen he had acquainted himself with over the years.

This was contained in a statement she issued in Ilorin Sunday, a copy of which was available to Pilot Politics last night.

Omodara stated that the Federal Government had made better choice of encouraging new innovations in the mode of administering Social Development issues in FCDA, thereby moving the agency forward.

As a former Commissioner, Chief of Staff and Chairman, State Universal Basic Education Board in Kwara State, the APC chairmanship flag-bearer said she was not surprised with the appointment of Ladi Hassan, who she described as a seasoned administrator.

She commended the Federal Government for putting a square peg in a round hole, expressing confidence that the new appointee would deliver on the given mandate.

Omodara also thanked the President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki and Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of the state for working assiduously, which eventually ended in the appointment.

“The appointment is a round peg in a round hole. He is a seasoned administration who would not disappoint the government.

“We need to thank the Federal Government for putting trust in our man and most especially our dear Senate President and political leader, Dr Bukola Saraki and Kwara State Governor, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed, for seeing through this new appointment”, Omodara said.
