Amidst murder controversy, Davido hangs out with Angelique Kidjo in S/Africa


Popular artiste, Davido was on Friday pictured with Angelique Kidjo with whom he is supposed to perform in South Africa for the Mangaung African Cultural Festival 2017.
Davido is one of Africa’s biggest act and has achieved lot more than some older men and this qualifies him to be in the league of legends.
The Mangaung African Cultural Festival 2017 is celebrating its 20th edition and will see over fifty top stars along with emerging performing acts.
The main festival at Loch Logan on October 7, brought vocally powerful and energetic Angelique Kidjo from Benin; top of the charts and the youth’s most favourite Davido from Nigeria; Swaziland’s sensation Sands popular for the song Tigi Tigi and Zimbabwe’s Jah Prayzah.
Davido and Angelique Kidjo both happily shared the photos on their various Instagram handles.
Recall that Davido was recently called out by Caroline Danjuma for allegedly abandoning his friend, Tagbo in the hospital.
Tagbo, who allegedly went clubbing with Davido died in mysterious circumstance.
The new Lagos Commissioner of police, Imohimi Edgar reportedly invited singer Davido and actress Caroline Danjuma for questioning over Tagbo’s death.
It was gathered that during the closed door meeting, Davido was able to provide CCTV footage from Shisha Room (The lounge in Lekki where they both partied earlier in the night) to prove that he left the club a long time before Tagbo and the deceased wasn’t in his car as claimed by Caroline.
According to LIB, Caroline declined to speak further on Tabgo’s death, saying it’s now a family issue and she won’t be making any more comments with Tagbo’s family signing off on it.
‘I don’t have anything to share with you because I’m not the only one in this picture, there are family members involved, so I can’t just start sharing things with you without the approval of the family members, if there’s an approval, I’ll let you know’ she said.
