KWSG flags off PRA for gender, vulnerable groups, today
The Kwara State Government will today flag off the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) process, for gender and vulnerable groups at Lasoju, Asa Local Government Area of the state, 10 am.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Acting General Manager, Kwara State Community and Social Development Agency (KWCSDA) and made available to National Pilot by Project Officer, Information, Education and Training, Demola Olanrewaju.
The process which will avail the vulnerable groups to choose the project of their choice for implementation will be flagged off by the Commissioner for Planning and Economic Development, Alhaji Wasiu Odewale.
The groups that expected at the event are: Olorunda widows, Irewolede vegetable farmers, Ewelere Idi-Emi vegetable farmers and Temidire group. While the Good Mother, Oloruntoba, Ireti-Ayo, Love and Care, as well as Unity Destination groups will also converge at Adeta LGEA Primary School in Ilorin West Local Government Area of the state.
The project is designed to increase access by the poor and particularly Internally Displaced People and vulnerable people in the North East of the country to improved social and natural infrastructure in a sustainable manner.
