Cleric laments leadership failure in Nigeria

A clergyman, Reverend Joseph Agboluaje has decried the challenges facing Nigeria, which he attributed to leadership failure.
Speaking on the theme in his Sunday sermon “The kind of Leader God is looking for,” he noted that the roles of leadership in any given society cannot be over emphasised.
Reverend Agboluaje explained that there was leadership failure both in Church and society at large, stressing that God is looking for a godly, visionary, knowledgeable, goal getter, humble and practical leader.
The cleric said the nation was in dire need of leader who will not only talk but act as good leader talk less and act more, adding that if such leader emerged, the society will be a better place to live.
He, however, implored Christians to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour and live a holy life worthy of emulation.
In his sermon, a cleric, Pastor Funsho Abiodun stressed the need for Christians to always praise God at all times for His mercy and protection.
Pastor Abiodun who spoke on the topic “we are planted and watered from above” at the 37th service of songs of the Choir of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Ilorin Headquarters called on Christians to use their talents to worship God.
The General Overseer of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel, Gaa-Akanbi, Pastor ldowu Constain in his message as part of activities marking this year`s widows, widowers and orphans day called on Christians to assist the needy in the society as preached in the Bible.
The Founder of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amayo, Pastor Aremu Abioye admonished faithfuls to worship God wholeheartdly to enable their heavenly father anniont them for divne visitation.
Also, the District Minister in charge of Kwara and Kogi of the Gospel Apostolic Church off Offa-Garage road Ilorin, Pastor Kehinde Ikupolati called on the people to be in good standing with their neighbours no matter the background or differences as the only way to sustain d existing peace that would ensure a continus friendly environment.
Pastor Taiye Aransiola of the United Evangelical Miracle Church, Ilorin who talked on the topic “the Holy Spirit his proper place in your life” explained that no one can live a successful and victorious Christian life without the power of the holy Spirit.
Pastor Aransiola called on Christians to open their entire life for the Holy Spirit to possess and control to be vibrant and fruitful in all areas of life.
Also in his message theme “great message” Pastor Olajide Olawuyi of Faith Baptist Church, Ita Elepa, Ilorin advised Christians to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations for the salvation of all souls.
