Worst Unilorin graduands get Oxford university scholarships


Guests, students and fresh graduates of the University of Ilorin at the 33rd convocation ceremony of the institution, on Saturday surprised as the Registrar of the institution, Emmanuel Obafemi announced that two (male and female )graduates of the university with the lowest Cumulative Grade Points Average(CPGA) for the 2016/17 academic session have been awarded scholarship to study at the revered Oxford University, London, courtesy Chris Imafidon Foundation.

Also awarded Oxford University scholarship were two graduates with the best CPGA.

Speaking at the occasion, the Chairman Governing Council of the institution, Dr. Abdullahi Jubril, who appreciated Imafidon’s philanthropic gesture described Unilorin products as “fantastic,” while calling on philanthropists to assist the institution to improve more.
