Mercy Aigbe is not in a happy mood at the moment as the cold hands of death have taken away her father.
Her father died after a long battle with an undisclosed illness.
The Nollywood actress is still in shock over the news of her Father’s demise on Sunday.
She had barely returned from a short Miami vacation when she received the news of her dad’s passing.
The late Pa Aigbe was said to be in his 80’s.
The actress who had to rush over to her late dad’s Bariga residence on Monday, simply wrote on Instagram ‘Only to come back and this happened, I am shocked. Goodnight dad…Rest on Dad’, she wrote.
Those close to her describe her as being in a ‘daze’ and barely speaking as she comes to terms with the loss.
Mercy Aigbe has been in the news lately because of the scandal rocking her marriage, which includes cases of domestic violence and infidelity.
Well, after all the drama that ensued, there have been indications that the beautiful actress and her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry might be getting back together.
This indication was given back in September 2017, when Mercy Aigbe attended an event at Ilesha in Osun state and was spotted wearing her wedding ring.
