Be steadfast in your faith, Cleric urges Christians

A Cleric, Special Apostle Prophet Segun Korode has called on Christians to be steadfast in their faith and worship only the living God.
Prophet Korode made the call in his sermon delivered at the 47th anniversary of the Light of ?Morning Star Band of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Ilorin District Headquarters on Sunday..
The Cleric, who spoke on the theme “To God only be the glory,” called on them to give all glory and praises to God for His mercy and protection over their lives.
He charged Christians to always honour God, noting that He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
Prophet Korode implored them to move closer to God and desist from sin for eternal life.
Speaking on the ?theme “Restoration”, Reverend Joseph Agboluaje of Second ECWA Shao explained that the dry bones in the book of Ezekiel chapter 37 represented the  spiritually dead condition of people.
Reverend Agboluaje stressed that God can restore any life, home, church and nation, no matter how dry or dead it may be.
The Cleric called on Christians to intensify their prayer for renewal, explaining that God is at work calling his people back to himself, bringing new life into dead situations both at home, in churches and the nation at large.
The Primate of the Resolution Church of Christ, National headquarters Coca Cola road, Ilorin, Dr. Martins Olobatoke admonished faithful to always pray for their leaders and the nation for continued peace to reign as with God nothing shall be impossible.
Primate Olobatoke added that prayer is the only solution to the current challenges facing the nation.
In his sermon at this year`s choir anniversary of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel, Gaa-Akanbi, Pastor Idowu Constain called on Christians to use their talent positively to attract unbelievers to Jesus Christ.
Also in his sermon while rounding off the Seven Supernatural Sunday service, which centred on “where is my heritance”, Pastor Aremu ?Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Blble Ministry, Amayo appealed to Christians to be obedience to their creator. Speaking on the topic “Don’t be tired of doing good”, Pastor Kayode Omotosho of C. A. C Anusogo lorimi, Kilanko village, enjoined Christians to cultivate the habit of doing good always as whatever we do shall be rewarded by God.
Pastor Olajide Olawuyi of Faith Baptist Church, Ita-Elepa, who spoke on the topic “Help from above” called on Christians to look unto God for solutions to all their problems.
Speaking on the theme “Pray meaningfully” Pastor Taiye Aransiola of United Evangelical Miracle Church, off Yidi road, Ilorin,? charged Christians not to be selfish and self centred but to pray purposefully, meaningfully and specifically for their prayer to be effective.
