A trailer carrying the coffins of 16 adults and 26 stillborn infants to a cemetery was involved in an accident yesterday in South Africa.
The trailer carrying more than two dozen bodies from Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital to the Olifantsvlei Cemetery in the south of Johannesburg, lost control after one of its wheels came off.
Six forensic pathology vans were later sent to the scene to transport the coffins to the burial site.
South Africans online said according to their country’s superstitious belief, if a family doesn’t guide the spirit of the deceased after death, things like these happen.
