What could have resulted in a fight between a staff of Unity Bank and a customer was averted on Tuesday. The duo had engaged in a heated shouting match thus disturbing the peace of the banking hall.
It was gathered that the bank official had demanded that the customer should write a letter of undertaking in respect of his money; N150,000. But, the customer insisted on collecting the money without following the outlined process for reasons best known to him.
It took some minutes before the frayed nerves of the duo could be calmed by other bank customers and officials.
The bank customer was later sighted at the desk of another bank official who was attending to his issue.
