A mild drama occured at Wema Bank, Taiwo road, Ilorin, Kwara on Wednesday as a customer protested the debit error in his account.
He demanded for the immediate reversal of the transaction.
Speaking to our customer on his plight he said, ” I attempted withdrawing money on Monday from the bank’s Automated Teller Machine (ATM) but the transaction failed but my account was debited.
He lamented that he waited for the alert to inform him of the reversal to no avail. After 24hours I rushed down to the bank and was told to be patient. I won’t leave here until the needful is done.
His loud protest attracted some of the bank officials who promptly attended to him to save the situation.
