Arsenal trio pen new deal
Arsenal has announced that three of the club’s prospects have signed new contracts with the North London club.
Gunners trio of Matt Macey, Ben Sheaf, and Eddie Nketiah have all featured in cup competitions this season, as Arsene Wenger has opted to reward the three players with new deals, although the length of the contracts have not been disclosed.
Goalkeeper Macey turned 23 in September but after making starts against Norwich City and Red Star Belgrade this season, he has been given the chance to extend his stay in North London.
The 19-year-old midfielder Sheaf has made just one first-team outing, with his debut coming off the bench in the Europa League clash with Red Star Belgrade in October.
Teenage striker Nketiah has made four substitute appearances this season, with the 18-year-old making an immediate impression by scoring two goals in the EFL Cup triumph over Norwich City.
