Russia 2018: Ex-Porto starlet hopes to represent Nigeria 


Ex-Porto midfielder, Irhene Fidelis Christopher has said he is good enough to be a member of the Super Eagles.
The player who joined AEL Limassol of Cyprus at the beginning of the European season from Portuguese giants FC Porto has been a rave review in that country.
Fidelis, who spoke to newsmen ahead of his team’s Monday clash with APOEL Nicosia, wants the Nigeria Football Federation and national team handlers to scout Europe for quality players for the national team ahead of Russia 2018.
He however said in the absence of international football he wants to give his best to his team to help them rule Cyprus and regularly play in Europe.
Azubuike Egwueke (Super Sports Utd) & Victor Nsofor (Cape Town City FC): Egwueke played all 90 mins as his club drew 1-1 at home to Cape Town City FC.
Daniel Akpeyi and James Okwuosa (Chippa Utd): Akpeyi was in goal for 90 mins while Okwuosa was impressive in defence as their club won 1-0 against Kaizer Chiefs in PSL game.  James Okwuosa was voted Man of the Match, his third straight award in three weeks.
