“Patience is key in this economic condition”
By Ahmed Suleiman
Muslims have been enjoined to exercise patience during hard times as it is a sign of accepting Allah’s will on them.
This admonition was made by Imam Yusuf Murtador (Olopoewa) during Jummat service at Agaka Central mosque, Asa Dam, Ilorin, penultimate Friday.
The cleric said that accepting Allah’s judgment is one of the characteristics Muslims should possess adding it is a test of a Muslim’s faith.
His words, ” Muslims should be grateful to Allah on whatever befalls them whether good or bad. He is the one that brings both to humans.
”If Allah loves someone He will test him. When things are going on smoothly for you without Allah’s test, it means He is yet to test you. Test is part of Allah’s assessment of every Muslim.” he stated.
Imam Yusuf further noted that Muslims should endure the challenges they are facing and leave everything in Allah’s hand.
