Shun hate speech, cleric warns Christians

Christians have been warned against hate speech for the sustenance of existing peace in the country.
The General Overseer of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel, Gaa-Akanbi, Pastor Idowu Constain gave the warning in his sermon on Sunday.
He admonished them to rather they let their utterance be of holy at all time in order to foster peace coexistence with people of other faiths.
In the same vein, Christians have again been charged to strive to make life bearable and comfortable for the less privilege in the society.
A Cleric, Reverend Joseph Agboluaje of Second ECWA, Shao made the call in his message delivered during a service tagged ” Make one to simile at Christmas_ ‘ where gifts were given to the less privilege.
Speaking on the theme: “Spirit of Love in the early church” Reverend Agboluaje, noted that the time of Christmas is the time to show Love in actions.
The Cleric explained that the preparation toward Christmas should be how to make someone to smile and feel the love of God, pointing out that the early church practice this and no one lack among them.
He called on all churches, Christian organisations and wealthy individuals to meet the need of at least one person this season.
Reverend Agboluaje stressed that such practice should be encourage to reduce poverty in the Country.
Pastor Taiye Aransiola of United Evangelical Miracle Church, off Yidi road, Ilorin who spoke on the topic “You will give an account,” called on Christians to be prepared for the last day when all souls must give account of their lives to God.
Pastor Aransiola implored them to repent of their sin, walk in holiness and righteousness each day and desire to walk obedience to the Lord in every area of their life.
Prophet Peter Oladipo of C & S Movement Church, Ipetu-Igbomina emphasised the need for Christians to be vessel unto honour to their heavenly father to enable them reign with Jesus Christ.
Speaking at the on-going 30 days fasting and prayer of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amoyo, Pastor Aremu Abioye called on faithfuls to move closer to God as the second coming of the Lord is fast approaching.
Also, Kayode Omotosho of C. A. C Anu Sogo lorimi Kilanko village whose message entitled “power of prayer,” noted that through prayer Nigeria can move forward positively and change for better in its current situation.
Prophet Peter Kolawole Williams of C. A. C Faith Chapel along Asa-Dam road, Ilorin urged the people to let the fear of God be their watchword.
