Economic Challenges: Imam implores Nigerians to pray for the nation

The Chief Imam of Dawah Mosque, Tanke F Division, Ilorin, Prof AbdulRasheed Raji has admonished Nigerians to return to Allah and pray fervently for His mercy for the country to overcome the socio-economic challenges bedevilling her.

in his Jumma’at Sermon, the cleric also advised Nigerians to repent from their sins and live righteous life.

Prof Raji attributed economic hardship and socio-political challenges in Nigeria to sins and oppression of the masses.

“Nigerians should pray fervently to God for His mercy upon us. There is the need for us to surmount this socio-economic hardship facing us. We must be prayerful and work towards the betterment of the nation at large.

“We should also repent from our sins and ensure that we do good always.” he stated.
