Forum of newly appointed members of Federal Boards of Parastatals and agencies, Kwara State Chapter, has applauded the Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki for his role in their appointments.
The forum in a communiqué jointly signed by its Acting Chairman and Secretary, Magaji Nda of Ilorin, Alhaji Soliu Woru Mohammed and Lukman Owolewa respectively, at the end of its maiden meeting in Ilorin, at the weekend, thanked Saraki for the large number of appointees from the state and pledge to be good ambassadors,
It called on the members of the public to continue to give their support to the Senate President in order to move the State to greater heights and specially thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for finding them worthy of service to the country.
According to the forum, Saraki, Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed and the chairman of the state chapter of the APC, Hon Ishola Balogun-Fulani should be appreciated for their pragmatic efforts in good governance in the appointment of large number of Kwarans into various federal boards and agencies among other political appointments.
Similarly, the Forum applauded both the Senate President and the Kwara State Government for their timely intervention in the reduction of school fees of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, which has brought relief to the parents and guardians of the affected students.
It therefore called on the members of the public to continue to give their support to the Senate President in order to move the State to greater heights.
