Imam tasks Muslims on godliness

Muslims have been urged to be God fearing, be good to others and possess topnotch qualities that should be identified with Muslims.

The Naibu-Imam (Second-In-Command) of Ansaru-deen Central Mosque, Imam Ibrahim Sholagberu, made the admonition penultimate Friday during Jumma’at service.

Imam Ibrahim who stated that Muslims should act according to Allah’s injunction, revealed that it behoves everyone to show kindness and care for their brothers and sisters because it is for their own good.

“We all have the sole responsibility of assisting one another, care for other people’s misfortune and be God fearing at all time. These are what we must show all the time.

“Our human kindness is very important to others. That is why we have to be good brothers and sisters. The good you do, you do it for your sake, the bad you do, you do it for your sake as well.

He also highlighted seven attributes Muslims must possess that are important and make them to be seen by God as kind-hearted. They include, five daily prayers, caring for their parents, performing ablution most of the time, reciting Laillah, fasting during Ramadan, Janabah, Hajj and Ummrah.
