KFA rakes in N7.2m from 19-yr-old transfer

… to benefit additional N17.8m training compensation
Kwara Football Academy (KFA) has received the sum 16,300 Euros (N7.2m) being the solidarity money for the transfer of the former player of the academy, Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis.
Bonaventure, who moved from KFA to Ukrainian side, FC Zorya in 2016 however moved to Club Brugge in 2017.
KFA, who natured the Club Brugge striker however benefitted from the sales of the player to the Belgian side.
National Pilot Sports exclusively report that the compensation money goes this way: KFA have received 16,300 Euros for (solidarity), they are also pursuing 40,000-60,000 Euros (N17.8m-N26.8m) as training compensation, which is expected in few months time.
The academy confirmed that the solidarity money has been paid to the school and they are still pursuing the remaining money
Bonaventure, 19, first made his name at Ukrainian side FC Zorya Luhansk where he scored six goals in 22 games last season.
His impressive form saw him get snapped up by Club Brugge on a four-year deal this summer.
And the former KFA player has taken Belgian football by storm with five goals in his opening five games.
Meanwhile, Manchester United is interested in signing Emmanuel Bonaventure.
Manchester City has apparently been on his radar for a year with club scouts checking in on him last September.
But Belgian outlet Het Laatste Nieuws claim Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been alerted to Dennis’ talents and will go head-to-head with Pep Guardiola for his signature.
Leicester and Dortmund are also apparently on the striker’s trail.
