NPFL: Kwara Utd’s Alfred in terrific form

Stephen Alfred, 18 joined Kwara United in 2016/2017 Football Season, when he was a phenomenon against the Harmony Boys in 2015/2016 Nigeria National League.
The strong, sensational and consistent natural left footer is a native of Baisa Local Government Area, Taraba State.
His former team FC Taraba hosted Kwara United in Jalingo and he showed the visitors the stuff he was made of, even repeated dexterity against the Harmony Boys in Ilorin in the second leg by tormenting the defense line each time he had the ball.
An energetic player with good pace, matching physique endowed with the ability to change a game in an instant with his ability to achieve the improbable.
He is technically excellent with the vision to unlock a defense or any time he has the ball around him.
His boldness, ubiquitous moves and ability to score goals using both legs as well as his head aided him to hit the back of the net four times last season in the NNL Northern Conference group.
In just eight games into the 2018 Nigeria Professional League (NPFL), Alfred has recorded five fantastic goals, one assist.
A prevalent hardworking and dedicated player with in-depth knowledge in free-kick has now scored three goals in three games, one against Katsina United, another two against Nasarawa United in Lafia on Sunday.
Alfred Stephen put an end to Kwara United away goal drought in Lafia at 64th minute, through a solo effort right from the center of the pitch straight to the 18m box before he unleashed a powerful shot, which the goalkeeper has no answer to, before he added another goal five minute later.
