The men of Kwara State Police Command has nabbed one Isiaka Ibrahim and Segun Akanbi of Ganmo Area for robbery attempt on one Olajide Alaba of Reke Village, Afon , penultimate Friday.
The suspects invaded the victim’s house on the pretense of trying to buy satchet water and held the victim at gunpoint.
According to a police source, the victim reported the case at Afon Divisional Police Station.
“The victim said the suspects came to buy satchet water from his wife and they later brought out locally made pistol and threatened to kill him.
“He raised the alarm and the vigilantes came to his rescue and arrested he suspects, who were handed over to the police. The case was later transfered to state Criminal Investigation and Intelligent Department where the suspects confessed to the crime.”
