Nagin,’Snake Girl,’ drowns in Dubai hotel
Bollywood has lost one of India’s greatest actresses following the sudden death of Sridevi Kapoor, popular for her exceptional role in the late 1980s film ‘Nagina, The Snake Girl’.
The actress was found drowned in her hotel bathtub in the UAE where she had been attending a family wedding. It is believed she died as a result of a cardiac arrest.
On a career that spanned over five decades, Sridevi featured in almost 300 films, also including classics Mr India, Chandni, ChaalBaaz and Sadma.
