Be steadfast in faith, Christians urged

 

A Cleric, Pastor Ademola Popoola has called on Christians to believe strongly in the power of the Lord Jesus Christ who is able to turn things around positively.
Pastor Popoola made the call yesterday in his sermon titled “Jesus Christ, the son with total power,” delivered at the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Ilorin District Headquarters.
The Cleric implored them to worship only the living God who created the Heaven and the earth.
He noted that there was no issue or problem that the Lord could not solve, advising  people to fast and pray fervently to receive anointing and power to overcome all the challenges confronting them and the nation.
Pastor Popoola ?who quoted relevant Bible verses noted that miracle happens when people fast and pray and truly seek the face of God.
Speaking on the topic:“Remember me oh Lord”, Reverend James Adedoyin of ECWA Ita Elepa, Ilorin  explained that Saul was rejected because of his disobedience to God and chose David to take over from him.
Reverend Adedoyin called on Christians to rely and depend on God to see them through their present challenges, adding that the same God that remembered David in the wilderness, is always on the throne and would remember them for good.
The Cleric implored them to worship the only living God and belief in Him to turn the present situation in the Country for better.
The Minister in charge of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, City of Grace, Obbo road, Ilorin, Reverend Kelechi  Odii who spoke on the topic “Jesus Saves,” challenged Christians to believe and hold firmly to the supernatural power of Jesus Christ to save and deliver them.
Pastor Taiye Aransiola of United Evangelical Miraacle Church, off Yidi road, Ilorin in his message themed “Is anything impossible for God,” charged Christians to trust the Lord with all their heart to realise their dream and desire, saying that there is nothing impossible for God to do.
Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amayo who centred his message on “Moving forward,” urged Christians to abide by God’s will to enable them forge ahead in their ways.
Prophet Peter Kolawole Williams of C. A. C Faith Chapel along Asa-Dam road, Ilorin called on Christians to put their faith In God as he is the Jehavoh Rapha.
Pastor Idowu Constain of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel, Gaa-Akanbi emphasised on praising God always as the key to divine breakthrough.
Prophet Peter Oladipo of the C & S Movement Church, lpetu-lgbomina charged Christians to use the on-going lenten period to seek the face of God to intervene on what the nation is currently passing through.
The District Minister in charge of Kwara and Kogi States of the Gospel Apostolic Church Pipeline road, Offa Garage road, Ilorin, Pastor Kehinde lkupolati advised faithful to rely on their heavenly Father when all hope are lost.
The General Overseer of the Power Proclaimer Peoples Assembly along Offa Garage, Ilorin, Reverend Paul Olaniyi who centered his message on favour from above urged Christians to look unto God for solution to their problems.
