Christians urged to win souls

A Cleric, Pastor Ademola Popoola has called on Christians to grow and mature spiritually to win souls for the kingdom of God.
Pastor Popoola made the call yesterday in his sermon delivered at the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Ilorin District Headquarters.
Speaking on the topic “Spiritual maturity”, the Cleric implored them to turn a new leaf and positively touch the life of others.
He urged Christians to desist from all vices that are inimical to their physical and spiritual growth.
Pastor Popoola ýcharged them to live an exemplary life worthy of emulation.
Speaking on the topic “Righteousness exalted a Nation” taken from the book of Proverb 14 verse 34, Reverend James Adedoyin of ECWA Ita-Elepa, Ilorin called on the people to be morally upright and live a righteous life to ensure the development and growth of the nation.
Reverend Adedoyin explained that righteous people would love their neighbors like themselves, help the needy and the widows and would not harm or kill fellow human being.
The Cleric urged the people to serve humanity with what they have as they would be accountable to Jesus Christ.
He called on religions leaders to preach righteous, peace and harmony and the love of the Country and her citizens to be the topmost priority of their message.
Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amoyo who centred his message on peace, admonished Nigerians to allow peace to reign as no achievement could be achieved where peace does not exist hence the need for the people to remain one family.
Pastor Taiye Aransiola of United Evangelical Miracle Church, off Yidi road, Ilorin who welt on the topic “Does God answer prayers Today?” urged Christians to have trust in the Lord and to call upon Him at all times.
Pastor Aransiola advised them to be specific in their request and pray in Jesus Christ mighty name with all their heart and expect a definite answer from God.
Speaking on the theme: “Don’t Disregard Boundaries”, Reverend Joseph Agboluaje explained that Boundaries are designed by God to keep the people on track and out of trouble but many disregard these boundaries for their perils.
Reverend Agboluaje called on servant of God to remain in God provisions, honour God in their life and make Jesus Christ the center message as well as make Heaven their utmost goal.
Prophet Femi Emmanuel of the Agbara Olorun lgbani wasibe Worldwide international, Gbagede called on Christians to show love to their neighbours regardless of their religion background to sustain the current friendly environment to facilitate more developments.
Prophet Peter Oladipo of the C & S Movement Church, lpetu-lgbomina urged Nigerians to always pray for their leaders for God to give them divine direction in their aspirations at meeting the needs of the masses.
The General Overseer of the Power Proclamier Peoples Assembly along Offa-garage, Ilorin, Reverend Paul Olaniyi charged Christians to do good as whatever done on earth shall be accounted for hereafter.
Pastor ldowu Constain of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel, Gaa-Akanbi, cautioned politicians against selfish interest rather they should abide by the will of God by assisting the needy in the society with their belongings.
Also, a Cleric, Pastor Amos Ajayi has called on Nigerians to be obedience and respect constituted authority to ensure the progress of the Nation.
Pastor Ajayi who is the Minister in charge of Glorious. Height Christ Chapel, Asa Dam road, Ilorin made the call in his sermon delivered today in the Church.
The Cleric who took his message from the book of Deuteronomy chapter twenty eight verse one explained that total obedience is what the Nation need to forge ahead in all areas.
