A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has said, the Senate President, Dr Bukola

Saraki would make a better leader than President Muhammadu Buhari.

Omokri in a series of tweets, said this in reaction to Saraki’s visit to Offa after a robbery incident that left many people dead.

Saraki on Saturday flew into Kwara State from the South East en route Abuja to visit the victims of the deadly robbery incident.

The former presidential spokesman wrote, “On this Offa banks robbery where 9 policemen died, @bukolasaraki has shown superior leadership than Buhari. He responded to the incident immediately, appropriately condoled the victim’s families and now has visited the town itself.

“In all, he’s shown he can lead better than Buhari. Bukola Saraki condoled with Police and victim’s family immediately after the Offa Banks Robbery, then physically visited Offa.

“Bukola Saraki condoled with victim’s family immediately after #OffaBankRobbery, then physically visited Offa but Buhari ignored Offa for 48 hours, until I tweeted. He jetted to Katsina after the incident. ‘Between the 2, who would make a better leader?”, the tweet added.

Meanwhile, the Senate President on Saturday facilitated the deployment of an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) to the state after he personally spoke with the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Idris Ibrahim, over the robbery incidence in Offa.

The conversation, Saraki noted, was to discuss long-term solutions to protect the lives and property of the people of the Offa community following Thursday’s coordinated attack on some financial establishments in the town.3
